Set up Phase
with Traktor Pro

To use Phase with Traktor Pro, you'll need a DVS interface. Since Traktor has opened DVS compatibility, it should work with any DVS interface or sound card.

Step-by-step

Power your Phase Receiver via USB to any power supply (5V).

Plug the RCA cables from the Phase outputs to the "Line" inputs of your mixer.

Then, as usual, connect your mixer to your laptop via USB.

Make sure to set the PH/LN switch on “LN”, then click the Traktor button next to the PH/LN switch to enable DVS mode.

Select the “Traktor” DVS signal in the Phase Manager "Setup" tab.

Now, place your Remotes on top of your records, and wait a few seconds for the calibration to complete before you start spinning.

You're all set!

If you see a "Calibration failed" message on Traktor screen, simply disable the "Enable deck header warning" in Traktor's preferences.

Do I need a DVS license to use Phase?

Yes, to use Phase, you'll need to use an interface that enables DVS. Phase doesn't act as a DJ sound card.

Can I use Phase with Traktor Pro via HID?

As of now, there is no dedicated HID integration available to use Phase with Traktor Pro directly via USB. We are working on bringing this feature to our Traktor users and are in contact with the Traktor teams. We hope to see this integration live soon. However, we do not have a specific development or delivery date to communicate at this time. Stay tuned for updates!

Can I use Phase with a controller as a mixer?

Absolutely, Phase DJ controller is compatible with any DJ software enabling DVS. All you need is a laptop, a DVS interface and a turntable and you're good to go!
